Jeff was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He attended California State University, Long Beach and graduated in 1995 with a B.A. in Psychology. After college, Jeff enrolled at Pepperdine University School of Law. At Pepperdine, he participated in the Sentencing and Corrections Program. This brought him to various prisons across California where he lectured and counseled inmates and helped them transition back into their communities. He also participated in the Center for Community Development, providing mentoring and support services for socially and economically disadvantaged inner-city youths.
Jeff graduated from Pepperdine with a J.D. in 1999. Since then he has worked on a broad range of large complex legal cases, including construction defect litigation, consumer class actions, corporate fraud, civil rights, employment law, insurance bad faith, inverse condemnation, mass tort, pharmaceutical cases, product liability, and other disputes. Having made a trip to Portland, Jeff fell in love with the city and knew it would be a wonderful place for him and his family. They moved in 2011 to open his solo practice at Northwest Law Office. His practice focuses primarily on criminal defense and domestic relations issues. He has a passion for helping people. Jeff believes that everyone should have equal access to the justice system, regardless of their personal or economic situation.
